In 2026, I was placed at El Nuevo Dia in Puerto Rico to be their lead science reporter for the summer. I wrote 41 articles about Puerto Rican science, of which seven made the front page. I also created 5 photo galleries and recorded a podcast.

In April 2025, I was honored to have my essay fetured in Science magazine within their Working Life section. It tells my story as a young scientist trying to pursue a STEM career after Hurricane Maria hit Puerto Rico.
